Meet CPUC's Eric
Title: Assistant Public Advisor
Division: External Affairs
CPUC Tenure: 7 Years
Headquarters: Los Angeles
CPUC role: As an Assistant Public Advisor with the Public Advisor’s Office, I help Californians navigate the CPUC and make their voices heard. I plan public hearings, support our Voting Meetings, and guide consumers and others who want to provide comment or present testimony to the CPUC.
What’s one project you’ve worked on that you’re especially proud of and why?
For four years, I oversaw the production and editing of the CPUC’s Annual Report for the Governor and Legislature. It was a lot of writing, editing, and coordinating with departments across the agency to get it right. Each year at the end of the process, and with the help of our great graphic designer, the CPUC had a tangible report highlighting all the work the agency performed that year. It was a proud moment to see our collective efforts packaged into a final document that gives the Governor and Legislature a picture of what the CPUC accomplishes.
What initiatives at the CPUC make you proud to work here?
While my office has a codified purpose, we field queries from the public that go well beyond that scope. My team is comprised of people who are willing to help, however they can, to go above and beyond, and to ultimately support the public. I am incredibly proud of our very small but capable team.
